Additionally, among the top marketing experts, Karen Post, weighed in with an extremely interesting opinion. Ms. Post flat out said that AANR’s tagline – “The credible voice of reason for naked diversion since 1931″- has got to go. Susan Weaver, the present president of AANR, brushed off that proposition saying that she was proud of it.

Only because we enjoy something, it doesn’t mean it is the most suitable choice. At least AANR granted that their web site needs work, but that they will take action with the new funds created from sponsors. I find this peculiar AANR boasts about having a $1.5 Million budget and yet they don’t have the funds needed to revamp their website? Plus, from the way the post is composed, AANR might need to wait a long time, so where does that leave its members who might want a better looking and more user friendly website?
Another issue that got many nudists disturb is the fact the acting executive director of AANR, Jim Smock, is not a nudist. https://naturism.top/searches/hardest-list-nudism/7/ see their point, but it never really bothered me till I saw the image in the article today. The type of signal does that send? Why the need to fake? It made my heart drop when I saw it because it adds to the opinion the article is one huge joke or a game (at least that is what some of the folks said).
The “nudist movement,” as it is perceived by the general public is somewhat of an oxymoron. Nudists are viewed as being an overweight and aging people that only loves sitting around and sunbathing bare all day long. There is no lack of interest but there exists an image issue. Let’s face it, it isn’t perceived as cool to be a nudist. https://naturism.top/albums/stellar-bodies-having-a.html did not help, and things like this make it even more challenging to shift the people’s perception. I’m not a believer that any press is good press. Sometimes it truly is better to say no, even if it’s the Wall Street Journal.
In the US we have bigger organizations like TNS and AANR. But the fact that no one actually knows why, when or what they do, is a major roadblock as it pertains to getting support. Now, naturism is a different type of cause (possibly because it’s not generally perceived as a “cause”). Anyone on the street would probably say when someone needs to be naked then they should go home and take their clothes off Should somebody desire to participate in social unclothed tasks then there are a bunch of beaches, clubs, resorts and home get-togethers. So beach party for advocacy there. Thus, https://naturism.top/albums/split-screen-photo-mix.html from non-naturists would be hard to get unless one promotes another set of values which might be presently not being addressed by any other organizations.
In case you are a nonprofit or advocacy group, you need support and donations. https://xelyd.com/albums/awesomeness-abounds-among-our.html would donate to AANR or TNS simply because they believe in “the cause” or “mission.” TNS has an excellent publication which can be why most people become members. Folks join AANR because they want reductions (and some are essentially forced to become members if they wish to be part of particular nudist resorts or clubs). People who feel passionate about a cause or organization will donate regardless of what they’ll get in return. Since there is absolutely no accurate naturist advocacy organization out there now, there is nothing for naturists to drum up support for or rally behind.
FKK is probably the lowest of all the naturist groups and yet we are the most vocal and active. Curating content that addresses particular issues chooses quite a bit of time and dedication and while other groups ARE ABLE TO AFFORD to do that, none of them really do.
